The Club

Founded in 1908, a private member-owned club where families enjoy a social and recreational lifestyle. We are a family of members who value a compelling sense of community and a culture of excellence.

Golf

Our 18-hole championship course, crafted by legendary designer Donald Ross, offers a playing experience that’s both challenging and fun. The layout rewards thoughtful play while remaining accessible to golfers of all skill levels, making every round something to look forward to. With a legacy that includes decades of tournament history and a commitment to growing the game, our course remains the heart of the Club for players, families, and rising talent alike.

Tennis

Our newly renovated tennis and pickleball complex features five Har-Tru courts, four hard courts, and eight dedicated pickleball courts, all lighted for evening play. Led by a seasoned team of professionals and recognized as one of the top 100 programs in the country by the USTA, our racquet sports program offers year-round opportunities for every level of player, from competitive matches to casual rallies and everything in between.

Dining

At the Country Club of Spartanburg, all members of the family enjoy a wealth of festive opportunities to engage with each other and their Club. Whether sitting in the adult-only Grill, the Tap Room, Casual Dining or al fresco on the Terrace our members can be assured of a memorable experience.

Events

From wedding receptions and large corporate events to quaint birthday celebrations and small business meetings and everything in between, customizing your own event is what we do best. Our events manager works closely with each member to execute the event exactly as imagined.
