Membership
The Country Club of Spartanburg offers many different membership classifications to suit all ages and families. The staff at The Country Club of Spartanburg is dedicated to making every experience at your club, whether personal or professional, a memorable and fond experience that always exceeds expectations and one that you can be proud to share with your family, friends and business associates.
For over one hundred years, The Country Club of Spartanburg has been an Upstate tradition. Much more than a golf club, the club has grown into one of the finest full service country clubs in the southeast. Our first-class amenities include an 18-hole championship golf course, 9 clay and 3 hard tennis courts, large outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and a clubhouse with dining options for every occasion and taste.
Family Membership shall include husband, wife, or head of the family, and unmarried daughters and sons under the age of 25. Family membership entitles the family to our 18- hole championship golf course built in the tradition of Donald Ross, tennis facility consisting of 9 clay and 3 hard tennis courts, pool, clubhouse amenities, social, dining services, bar service and our fully equipped fitness and aerobics center. Includes privilege to vote and right to hold office.
Social Membership shall include husband and wife, or head of the family and unmarried daughters and sons under the age of 18. Social members shall be entitled to all privileges of the Family member except access to the golf course and the right to vote and hold office
Non-Resident Membership shall be for persons who reside outside of Spartanburg County. Such members and their families shall be entitled to all privileges of the club except the right to vote and hold office.
Junior Membership shall include husband and wife, or head of the family and children. Junior membership must be sercured after the twenty-first (21) birthday and prior to the candidate's thirty nineth (39) birthday. Upon reaching the age of forty-one (41) and payment of all initiation fees in full, the junior membership shall automatically be transferred to the roster of Family Member. Junior members do not have the privilege to vote until all initiation fees have been paid and membership transferred to Family Membership
To be eligible for this membership category you must be seventy (70) years old. The membership is restricted to Clubhouse services and events only. Current or past members may transfer to this classification upon written request. New memmbers shall make application and be approved by the Board of Directors
